Matrox’s DualHead2Go

By David Ponce

I’m pretty sure of two things. One, this product certainly is not a new kid on the block. Least, I don’t think so. And two, that picture sure looks like an artist’s rendering. This of course, is totally beside the point.

The DualHead2Go, from Matrox, is a palm sized accessory which splits your system’s single VGA display output in two. Two monitors can then be attached to these enabling your desktop to expand across both screens at up to 2560 x 1024 resolution, at 60Hz. In the case of a notebook, your third display also still works independently.

It’s about £117, or just a hair above $200. It’ll come out sometime in November, at least in the UK.
