The Morse Code Watch

By David Ponce

Allright, I get it Tokyoflash. I get the point of your impossibly cool watches: the harder to tell the time, the better. Yeah, that’s it, right? That’s the name of the game. Make watches that look darn slick, and have all your friends (preferably of the opposite sex) ask you to explain to them just how you tell what time it is.

By way of example, take a look at this Morse code watch. There’s a bunch of explanations on how to read it on the product page, but none of it makes any sense to me. And that, in a strange sort of way, is a good thing.

It’s not the first time we feature a Tokyoflash watch. Check out the Barcode SS watch. You’ll notice, that one too is incomprehensible.

Well, there you have it. The morse code watch sells for 12,900 Yen, aka $112. Right here.
