Air Freshner Light Bulb

There have been talks in the past about how negative ions can improve air quality because there are more negative ions in natural settings.
“The normal ion count in fresh countryside air is about 5,000 negative ions per cubic centimeter. At the waterfalls, you will experience up to 100,000 negative ions per cubic centimeter… This ‘air vitamin’ will help to accelerate the metabolism, promote vitality, make blood clearer (say what?), stabilize the nervous system, raise appetite, reduces stress hormones and mood and others.”
With this idea, the folks at Takara (makers of the Walkiebits) developed the negative ions generating “Moon Light Shower” bulb. With a built-in negative ion emitter, the company claims it can release the same amount of negative ions… as a forest.
Each light bulb will cost around $37. And if it doesn’t work, you can always use it as a very expensive light bulb.
