I think this fold-and-drop UI is very human-centric, very akin to flipping up papers to reveal more papers below. Works well, if it can be universal to even the OS X, FreeBSD, Linux, and Windows.

Um… what’s the major difference between this and the Mac OS “Expose” feature (other than the graphical trick of folding windows, which I gleefully admit is COOL)?
